Blessed Girls STEM and Community Scholarship

     The Blessed Girl STEM and Community scholarship assists high school seniors and college students who are interested in STEM or actively helping their community. Two students will be selected for the award. For the STEM award, the student must demonstrate interest in STEM by completing a multiple science course or obtaining a bachelor degree in biological sciences, computer science, or engineering. For both scholarships, the participants are to make a short video that demonstrates interest in STEM and community service as well as reflects upon future career goals or ideas to help their community in the future. Both recipients will receive an award of 500 dollars each. Winners will be announced during the last day of the Women in STEM conference. If you have questions contact:  info@blessedgirls.com

Eligibility

Applicants to the Blessed Girl STEM and Community Scholarship must be:

  • Be high school seniors or college student who is currently enrolled in high school or college
  • Be planning to attain a bachelor’s degree in bachelor degree (or equivalent) in biological sciences, computer science, or engineering or any related field of study from an accredited 4-year college or from a 2-year college with the intent to transfer to a 4-year college. 
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

Requirements:

–     A video that demonstrates interest/experiences in STEM or Community Service and tag @Blessedgirlsnj on instagram

–       CV/Resume

–       Unofficial transcript for 2019-2020 academic year
